About this bottle

Launched in October 2023, Pantalones Tequila is an organic tequila brand co-founded by Matthew and Camila McConaughey. It is made with 100% blue Weber agave and is produced at a certified organic family-owned distillery in Amatitán, Jalisco. The blanco is bottled without aging at 40% ABV. Initial availability begins at select Total Wine stores in TX, CA, FL, AZ, NV and online. (SRP $39.99)

A crisp, organic, gluten free, Agave Spirit by NOM: 1614 in Jalisco (Los Valles), Mexico 2x distilled in Stainless Pot with a Copper Coil before being bottled at 40% abv. It has an aromatic birth with notes of agave, earth, fruits, herbs & spices; while a bold life adds notes of citrus oil, dried cherries, honey & mint; that led to a complex death of medium length adding notes of white pepper, vanilla, cinnamon & almond. Sampled at the mystic bar in town. Not much to this tequila and not great as a sipper. However, just because i love me some mathew, i need to try again and definitely try the reposado & anejo.
