Okay since Distiller had this at a 98 and the reviews were all high i had to find a bottle of this. There was a Total Wine about 40 minutes away and they had two bottles priced at $24 so i bought one of them. Great price but will the stuff inside be as good as Distiller says it should be? Let's find out. Upon opening this I see it's a clear blanco like the other bottles nothing important there. Pour a glass and smell the fresh cooked agave smell. God i love that smell so good. The smell wasn't the best ever but it certainly smelled good better than the fake vanilla you smell with a casamigos or any other adding flavors. First taste. Yes it's good not knock your socks off good but definitely is a very enjoyable tequila that has clean, natural flavors. Would i buy this at the price i paid? Absolutely. Would i buy this for over $40, probably not because there are a couple others that I'd purchase ahead of it i.e. El Tesoro or Fortaleza. Certainly a very nice example of a non-additive blanco and would certainly recommend to anyone looking. 12/6/22

Sweet and crisp agave flavor with some nice lemon-citrus for balance. Nice dry herbal notes in the finish, earthier herbs like oregano or sage. I also get a peppery hint like white peppercorns. Extremely flavorful and refreshing. I'm a whiskey and gin drinker primarily, and this stands up to any dry or citrus-herbal heavy gin that I've had. I wish that this would have been my introduction to tequila. This is one of the best unaged, clear spirits that I've had in a long time. I could see this becoming a staple in my spirits library. On one hand, I could make a really interesting cocktail with this, but I don't actually want to since it stands very well on its own, and it would be wasted on 75% of the things I could mingle with it.

Neat. Nose is cooked fruity agave, earth, some herbs, citrus, and butter. Taste is rich with agave, soft citrus, white pepper, ripe tropical fruit and flowers, even a hint of vanilla, cinnamon and mint. Finish is mildly sweet, some citrus pith, hints of herbs soft anise. Nicely balanced, very little alcohol burn. A well made, natural tasting tequila with a wonderful flavor profile. Don't waste this on mixers. Quite rewarding for neat sipping. Fresh bottle tasting was a little mild and disappointing, but some air time really brought out some flavors. A little on the pricey side, but it's a honest delicious tequila worth it for those that like a prettier profile

I love the taste of agave. I started my tequila journey with Anejo's and have gradually worked my way back to Blanco's. I have a half dozen or so in my bar, all good and different to varying degrees. I saw the 98 score for 4 Copas from Jack Roberteillo here on Distillers, and thought, 'What, a Blanco? Reviewers always love those extra extra extra Anejo's.' Thank you Jack! This drink is awesome. How it could be so full of fruit and so lacking in any sight of bite or harshness, I don't understand. A tequila to have before dinner, after dinner, during dinner, or instead of dinner.

My eyes popped when I saw that 98 score in the review and the two dollar signs for the price. Fearing lack of availability, I proceeded to purchase the blanco as well as a reposado and anejo, and the trio arrived yesterday. Popping the cork on the blanco immediately delivered a whiff of fresh agave. The nose and palate offer the grassy and earthy notes of agave as well as a good dose of olive. The finish is very smooth but lacks a bit in duration and complexity. The overall experience is very similar to my favorite blanco, Fuenteseca, but at half the price.

I’m honestly very impressed. Admittedly, I purchased this based on the reviews here. Also, for ~$50, why not? On the first pour, I didn’t get much of anything. On the second, I got sweet herbal notes, very light pepper, and almost molasses? The flavor from this is unbelievable coming from a blanco.
