Neat from a freshly opened bottle: Nose is agave, citrus, grassy, floral, herbal. Hints of tarragon and anise. Touch of clean ethanol keeps it bright, but not harsh. Very pleasant. Taste is sugar cane, agave syrup, citrus, tropical fruits, fresh green herbs such as tarragon, cilantro, anise, and mint, a little vanila and butter, a hint of cinnamon. Finish is fairly short, mild sweetness, mild cinnamon, and a bit tart. Moderate creamy mouthfeel and no burn A nice example of a highlands tequila It has all the nice, pretty, bright and fruity flavors, and then adds some light herbs and a tart finish that adds a lot of complexity in just the right amount. Great Value too
About this bottle
This is a great textbook example of a classic Highland tequila and is actually from one of the highest elevation distilleries in Mexico and sourced from agave grown in some of the highest elevation plantations in Jalisco. The higher pressure, thinner air and cooler climate of the Highlands make for long growing cycles and bright citric and vegetal flavors.

Excellent! First the familiar taste of tequila, but this time with a lot of strength. Taste of alcohol is very light, but its not smooth either. And aftertaste has a steong blackpepper and some citrus in the there as well. A well balanced excellent tequila.
Clear. Strong herbs, spicy. Mildly sweet, spicy, cream. Smooth, mild alcohol. Smooth and creamy, but with interesting vegetal notes.
Very basic. Nothing special Must be consumed with food not alone
Very smooth with almost a berry taste
