Rehorst Barrel Aged Gin

Sampled this in Door County on vacation and had to grab a bottle. I am a whiskey fan but thoroughly enjoy a good gin, especially during these hot months. This is the best of both worlds. Very smooth with no bite, impressive at the higher proof. The whiskey barrel finish adds another layer of character to it. This is a whiskey drinker’s gin that can be enjoyed neat or in your favorite gin cocktail.

Nose of the usual floral gin but with candy sweetness, palate of cotton candy, long finish

Very smooth! Would like a little bit more juniper though.

A mild pine flavor with notes of cherry and vanilla.

Yikes! That’s nice and smooth. Drink it straight.
