Nose: funky old oak, peanut, getting some savory notes, almond jello Palate: palate follows the nose with the almond jello heavy up front, overripe wild cherry, grainy oak. Body is on the thinner side but the flavor is stronger than its proof Finish: long but mild in intensify. Dry, bitter tannins. Oak and dark chocolate lasts for a long timez Pretty unique offering. Brighter than i anticipated but that almond jello note is wonderful. Glad to have a bottle, lots of nuance to pick out. 9 on the t8ke scale

Nose: pencil shavings and peanut butter. Caramel. Later a little cinnamon spice. After the first sip a little mintiness emerged on the nose. Later was cherry pie crust. Body: medium to full Palate: sweet and spicy, hints of caramel. Finish: long, a little dry, smoky (yum) Notes: Post lulus first wolves game, an L but fun nontheless. I like this. Its missing a certain dark fruitiness i really like in these aged bourbons but this is good.
This bourbon has all the body and flavor of a 130 proof whiskey, but without all that alcohol. It’s a little bit ‘dusty’ with big, big flavor and lots going on. Easy to drink.
finally after sitting for 3 months this is starting to live up to the hype. getting really, really good. we'll see if it has even more to offer down the road.
Spicy in the mouth, toffee flavor on the back along with caramel. Gets less peppery the more you drink. gets better the more you drink
If you told me this was Turkey, I wouldn't argue with you. It tastes like a sweeter, watered down Rare Breed. The price is ridiculous.
