Wood types: first-fill bourbon, virgin charred American oak, and French oak ex-Bordeaux wine. Aged for 1.5 years, it's bottled at 55% ABV. Available beginning December 2023, this is one of four flagship rums launching in the US. (SRP $79.99)

GoodSpiritsNews 5.0

A darkling, brooding nose of deep cane. You can almost imagine the ruggedness of the land it was harvested from. The flavor is entirely the polar opposite, being very sweet, light, airy and joyously expressive. Remarkably smooth for a rum at 110 proof. Medium-long finish, with notes of vanilla taffy, and marshmallow. A great high-proof rum that will stand out in a Tiki drink, especially as a float.

Aged One 3.8

Canned pineapple, wax candy, burnt fermented mangoes nose. Jamaican funk meets haitian clairin. Plastic, green bananas. Semisweet cane juice. Good heat in finish. A well done cane rum.
