Longlasting notes citrus and mint. This is an American Gin. This full bodied, strong flavor is very botanical, well beyond a French Gin or London Dry Gin. Only Bluecoat gin ranks as stronger in flavor imo. Great in gin and tonic but perhaps too botanical for a dirty.
About this bottle
The Revivalist gins are crafted at the Brandywine Branch Distillery in Pennsylvania not far from Philadelphia. Their four core gins represent a seasonal approach to gin making with the Equinox representing a springtime expression. The distillers employ some classic botanicals with a focus on citrus that are joined by more the uncommon botanicals of meadowsweet and hyssop. Fermentation occurs in custom Douglas Fir wash backs and distillation occurs in custom CARL pot/column hybrid stills.

Spicy kind of, but not peppery. Hint of correander. Some kind of foggy juniper and soft wood flavor.
Smooth, just learning gin. A bunch of juniper but incredible nose and smooth/short finish
Definitely get the spicy and the herbal. Almost get a peppermint taste at the end.
