Smell: bubble gum and baking spice Taste: like it smells, a little bit of wood Ends with a little dryness on the tongue and baking spice. Easy sipper for those who aren't agricole lovers
About this bottle
The Rhum Saint James Distillery can be found in the Saint-Marie region of the island of Martinique. The company opened a modern distillery with a museum in 2010. All of their rhums are made from the cane juice of locally-grown sugarcane harvested beginning in February into early summer. The cane juice is distilled using column-stills and for this bottling, is aged in oak barrels or vats and blended to proof with local water. Their Rhum Vieux agricole is a blend of aged three year old rums blended to 42% ABV.
