Santo Spirits is a brand founded by rock musician Sammy Hagar and chef/restaurateur Guy Fieri. Santo Reposado Tequila is made with 100% blue weber agave from the Highlands of Jalisco. It's made by Master Distiller Juan Eduardo Nuñez at El Viejito Distillery. After steaming the agaves in stone ovens, the agave is crushed, fermented and then double distilled in copper pot stills. It's bottled at 40% ABV after aging for 5 months in ex-bourbon barrels.

Neat. Pale straw color. Aroma has lots of crisp, fruity agave, hints of dusty wood, white pepper, citrus. Minimal vanilla and caramel. Taste starts with sweet agave, light oak, light black pepper, delicate vanilla, pear and melon. Finishes with a soft flat sweetness with vanilla and some black pepper bite Great reposado for those looking for big agave with softer wood influence.
One of my favorite sipping tequilas. Smooth and silky:) started with 4.0, had a couple and now its at 4.5;)
