Nose: wood varnish, cherries. Palate: malt, botanicals,, smoke, honey, and a hint of cinnamon. The peat is there too, but not in your face. Water: adds a seawater scent and helps even out the flavors in the palate a bit. Overall: fairly complex but the flavor notes all over the map and aren’t necessary complementary.

It's peaty, so I'm already in love. Not as intense as Laphroaig or as full and flavorful as Ardbeg, although I'm sure it's made of whisky from both.

Good, smooth, smokey scotch. Smell more smoke than it tastes. A bit watery and light but an easy drink. Finish is gone before you know it.

Great value. Loads of good Islay notes and very reasonably priced!
