2021 release Bottle 2176 of 2284. Batch 21F1893 91.3 proof Deep copper color Soft bourbon sweet nose Immediate sweet caramel on the tongue. Beautifully layered with slight rye licorice, burnt toast, sweet corn, nutty body with good viscosity. Finish is long with some citrus notes, caramel, slight chocolate. Very well done.
Nose is wood and vanilla with maybe some dark cherry. Taste is like a caramel apple with nuts. Medium longer finish. Some leather throughout. Good juice for the right price. Some water helps to mellow the leather, wood flavor to more of the caramel and fruit.
Great sipping whiskey to warm you up. Starts smooth/sweet, then you get some spice, and the a little orange on the finish. Leaves a pleasant tingle on the lips and tounge after sipping. Big fan.
Caramel, apple, and a nice kind of smooth wheated after taste I’m used to with Weller, Pappy, etc. Letting this one breathe for some time helped it open up big time.
