Very nice and fresh but yet complex and just finishes really really well. For a Japanese whisky like this it deserves points simply for being available While the origin of the malt is not disclosed, I strangely feel that this has such uncanny similarities with Woodford reserve double oak which is like half the price But but but the mizunara finish defiantly is a clear stand out

Very nice. On the nose, it's quite fruity with hints of vanilla and orange zest. The taste is full and well rounded. Again, quite fruity with a subtle vanilla - chocolate. There's a spice on the finish that is very nice.
Clean and precise, floral notes to start and then heat and a rapid fade. I think a dab of water is called for
Just ok. Hibiki masters select or Kujira 10yo is much better
Too precise. Like a synthetic diamond.
