Smooth Ambler Spirits produces a vodka (comprised of 68% corn, 16% wheat, and 16% malted barley), which becomes their flagship gin upon the addition of vapor infused botanicals (juniper, coriander, cardamon, angelica root, orange peel, lemon peel and black pepper). From here, half of the distillate ages in new bourbon barrels while the other half ages in used Old Scout bourbon barrels. After 3 months, the gins are blended and bottled to proof at 49.5% ABV.

Nice juniper nose with notes of orange & a touch of lemon. Juniper flavor with notes of citrus & a hint of pepper. Sweet juniper & pepper finish. Batch 19, bottle date 5/15/15. Thanks JT.
