Seattle-based Black Rock Spirits imports this 100% blue weber agave tequila from a distillery in Mexico. After resting 8 months in oak barrels, it gets bottled at 80 proof. "El Burro Sparkalo" was launched in September 2012 and this reposado has won several awards since.

I really wasn't expecting much from this when a friend served it to me, but like they say, don't judge a book by its cover. Nose: Wait, what? Is that cotton candy? No seriously, why does this smell like cotton candy? Taste: There's that caramel/maple sweetness that you really don't expect from this price point. But still the smokey agave comes through. This is definitely one worth sipping on to enjoy.
I dont drink tequila but I tried a good bit when I worked in a bar that carried just about anything you could think of in all the price ranges. If I were going to buy tequila it would be Sparkle Donkey. The one flavor I picked up was like cotton candy. This stuff is awesome
If sparkle donkey reposado was a colonial style musket, deliciously smooth vanilla and maple notes would be the gunpowder lovingly shoveled into the barrel. Shoot this at your enemies and turn them into friends.
A rich, Agave Spirit by NOM 1438in Jalisco, Mexico. It has an aromatic birth with notes of caramel & oak; while a balanced lie adds notes of agave & spice; that led to a rich & complex death of medium length.
