Made from regional sugarcane syrup and molasses, St. Augustine is fermented, aged and pot-distilled on site in the eponymous city. It is bottled at 45% ABV. The resulting color is pale straw.

Amazing nose with intense vanilla. Sweet candy corn on the front of the tongue. Spice on the back. Don’t care for the back and finish. A harsh alcohol finish. I bet a couple years in the barrel would mellow out and make this amazing.
Straw, Honey, Molasses and warmth. This is a definite local favorite.
