Bright yellow in color with thick legs and nice clarity. Herbal spices, lemon and licorice on the nose. It’s creamy and sweet with some intensity on the tongue. A little bitter. I’m getting lemon, anise, mint and juniper flavors. It’s very comlex but balanced. Overall, it’s interesting and versatile. I enjoyed it neat, chilled, on the rocks and in an Autumn Leaves cocktail with rye whiskey, apple brandy, sweet vermouth and cinnamon tincture.

Strega, aka "The Witch's Brew", is an Italian Liqueur with roughly 70 ingredients. This is a great example of why Europeans like their aperitif and digestives!!! A well balanced liqueur that doesn't taste artificially sweetened, and has nice herbal notes, along with mints and anise! Could drink this all night. My score was 92
A bit medicinal. Thick, syrupy texture. Sugary sweetness upfront (hints of vanilla) with a strong herbal finish (a touch of anise). Not too bitter, but still intense. It's fine but it's not my favourite.
Thick syrup consistency that has a mild medicinal taste. Refreshing on the rock with a nice light spearmint finish
Just as complex an herbal profile but quite a bit more bold than Chartreuse in its flavor
Warm, thick, herbal. Reminds me of Italy. To be sipped gently.
