About this bottle
Tequila Distinguido is produced by the Contreras family, whose ancestor, Don Jose Trinidad Contreras, helped found the town of Valle de Juarez back in 1845. Don Jose "distinguished" himself as an agave harvester during his youth, hence the name of this tequila. This reposado is made from 100% blue weber agave baked in a stainless steel oven and double-distilled in a column still. It ages for 7 to 9 months in barrels made from American white oak.
