About this bottle
Tequila Distinguido is produced by the Contreras family, whose ancestor, Don Jose Trinidad Contreras, helped found the town of Valle de Juarez back in 1845. Don Jose "distinguished" himself as an agave harvester during his youth, hence the name of this tequila. This silver style tequila is produced from blue agave that is baked in a stainless steel oven before being double-distilled in a column still and immediately bottled.
