About this bottle
This Port Cask Aged tequila is another limited edition release from Luxco's El Mayor Tequila brand. Like the all El Mayor bottlings, this one is made with 100% blue weber agave from the Tequila Valley in Jalisco, Mexico. Extra Añejo tequila requires at least 36 months of barrel maturation and in this case, El Mayor ages just a bit longer for 42 months. And as the name suggests, the casks used here formerly held port wine, a fortified wine from Portugal. Available nationwide as of July 2022.
