About this bottle
Las Presas or "The Dams" is the name of the ranch in Jesus Maria once owned by Carlos Camarena's great-grandfather. Upon harvest, the agaves grown here were 6.5 years old. As per usual, the agaves were cooked for 72 hours in an oven before a roller mill is used to extract the cooked juice or miel. Fermentation lasts 4-5 days and then the juice is double-distilled. The reposado aged in exhausted whiskey barrels for 64 days.
