Distilleria San Matias is one of the oldest tequila producers in Mexico, and its brand Pueblo Viejo is considered one of the leading brands in the Mexican market, now recognized in the US. The reposado is made from 100% agave grown in the Los Altos, Jalisco . It's aged 9 months in American oak.

Richer than many reps I've had, but also a little hot and slightly bitter. There is a little funk in the nose. I would buy again because it is different and a steal at $20.
