Both the nose and the palate can be described as cream soda, but turn up the sweetness. It’s just as friendly and approachable as it sounds. This would make for a very good entry-level whiskey, especially within the world of American blends. For most experienced whiskey enthusiasts, this will probably be pretty boring, as there’s almost no complexity at all, and the flavor that is there fades pretty quickly. In that regard, “thin” would be a good word to use to describe this, and it’s bordering on being a one-note whiskey. But again, it’s incredibly easy to drink and very affordable as well.

I've heard people describe vanilla and birthday cake flavors in whiskey before and never really had any whiskeys that had those notes. This one hits you in the face with both of those flavors big time, which turns it into a bit of a love or hate it affair. I personally like the vanilla flavor they have going on and it's really impressive that they didn't use any additives to achieve it. It's a great dessert whiskey, but if you are searching for typical bourbon flavors you may be pretty disappointed.
Bar pour. (Pronounced T-X, not Texas. My apologies to our bartender.) Nose is sweet and light. Vanilla cream with chocolate covered cherries and a hint of almond. A little on the youthful side. Flavor sticks with the almond flavors and brings in a little cookie dough ice cream on top. Not overly complex and a short finish. Not too shabby. It's a decent social sipper and worth trying, but it's probably not going to break into my normal rotation.
Originally tashted this at the distillery. Grabbed a bottle more because of it unique vanilla character and experimenting with it. Nose isnt that complex but is dominated by vanilla with a little sharp ethanol character coming through. The flavor is where this bottle turns interesting. It tastes so much like a high quality vanilla extract, but in a good way. Body is thin and it finishes sweet and quick. Fun to play with in cocktails.
Nose: Caramel and cream soda. Very unique. Palate: vanilla icing dominant, almost like custard or creme brulee. No other major notes. Overall: this is super easy to drink. Extremely unique and could almost pass for a vanilla flavored whiskey in my opinion. I’m a big fan and will be enjoying this as dessert. Though this lacks complexity, the flavor profile makes up for it.
The nose has a sweet butterscotch. The palate is crème brûlée, vanilla and the finish has a strange burnt popcorn kernel. No oak and once I noticed they had other grain spirit it made sense because it has a very light characteristic to it. Here in Texas and I had to give it a try, but I don’t need another pour of this whiskey.
