After acclimating to the higher proof, this robust pot still rum boasts a lot of molasses, tropical fruit like banana and pineapple, butterscotch and even a little chocolate. The nose teases these flavors with more emphasis on the fruit and caramel. I’d say you could enjoy this neat- albiet a bit hot. Im sure it would work great in a Mai Tai. Cheers

109 proof. Aged in ex bourbon barrels. Toasted molasses, charred oak, cinnamon, charred caramel, toasted banana, vanilla, coconut, sugar cookies, honey, little sour grape, brown sugar, blueberries, cherry, chocolate, butter popcorn, pineapple, toasted mangos, strawberries, wine, brownies.
Banana and molasses aromas, palate has a lot of molasses, some funk, and a little hint of balsamic. Definitely has that "meant for cocktails" feel, but it's an enjoyable enough sipper, though not as much as most other WPs I've had.
Fermented green bananas and dates nose. Bold raisins, prunes and dates. Sapping dry, sweetness sticks to jowls. Abv hits in the finish for a long rum rub. High quality mixer.
A bit harsh but overall tastes pretty good.
