5 years open by now. Deep copper in color. Slight absinthe in the nose with grahams cracker. Not too sweet, nutty flavor, followed by some rye dill and herbal tones. Well balanced for a four grain. Medium to long finish that Carries sweet caramel and floral notes. Dryness as well Sept 2022, nose has not changed, sweetness has cola and sweet dill, some licorice and star anise. Finish has more of a licorice finish

I had to grow into this one. My initial pour felt very scotch-like. Now, I'm getting more complex sugars and subtle rye, vanilla, mint on my 3rd pour. Halfway through the bottle and it's better than ever. If you get a bottle and don't like it..give it some 'air time' and give it a second opinion. I'm looking forward to seeing some older bottling of this recipe and trying some other products from A.D. Laws

Rye seems predominant. Earth, dark chocolate, black pepper, nutmeg, heather, malt, wheat then corn. Slight smoke, peat. Very dry finish, although lasting warmth. This is an interesting whiskey. Perhaps because it is 4 grain? To me this one will need a few chances. Try- neat, with a few drops of water or on ice.

It's a sweet, almost tart, offering out of AD Laws. Thick with over ripened red cherries, cinnamon roll icing, baking soda, and rocky mtn. snowmelt. Laws Whiskey House is quickly becoming the best whiskey maker in Colorado, maybe the Mountain time zone!

Nose: sweet maple syrup into spice and wood, almost cedar. Taste: sweet that turns into a fun, complex spice before settling into a toasted bread crust Finish: long spice that gradually lightens

Decent pour, not overly impressed with the finish. Selected it because I was in Denver for the night. Full disclosure I don’t love four grains, so if this is your thing I’m sure it rocks
