This pour is very similar to the Adictivo Anejo in sweetness and approachability. I almost feel its more a tequila finished in whiskey barrel instead of the reverse. very sweet with notes of agave and cherry cola . Interesting and fun pour but bourbon purist gatekeepers will be struggling with this . Hopefully they relax and enjoy the sweet cocktail like flavor this bottle delivers . Glad to have a bottle to enjoy and share.

A pleasantly orange-y aroma on the nose. Very fragrant with a touch of sweetness. Smooth thanks to a good aging time. Lightly grassy and vegetal profile due to aging in tequila barrels, but distinctly “whiskey”-y to stand out from that. Very warm with elements of classic baking spices/cinnamon. Probably not worth the price but quite tasty.
Wow! Unique offering for sure. Tequila barrel offers a lot, but not as expected. Medium sweetness from start to finish. Cola flavor present. Overall, extremely easy to drink whiskey with strong sweetness and smooth flavors. Easily worth the cost. Not for traditional bourbon drinkers though. Excellent whiskey IMO.
Sweet nose, Coca cola and Dr. Pepper on the palate, with some toasted coconut and charcoal. Weirdly complex and absolutely delicious!
Wasn't the worst thing I've ever had, but I did not enjoy this whiskey. Too much tequila flavor coming through for me.
Taste like the extra Anejo tequila by adictivo, but as a whiskey
