Asbach Uralt 3 Year

Another late check-in for me. I should be more regular in this app. The blend gives off a young fruity brandy but also indulges you with some spice and wood. It is light on the snifter and enjoyable to sip. It is not pricey as well. But for low cost bottles, Fundador still takes the cake in my opinion.

Raisins in a tin container nose. Macerated stone fruits and grapes. Sweetness up front. Bittered grape pit and caramel develops. Dry and moderate warming finish.

Grapey and a bit sweet with some whiskey character. Could be a decent workhorse brandy for the price

Very plain, no sweetness.

Nice, subtle brandy.
