About this bottle

Barrell Craft Spirits has launched a Private Release Whiskey Series with 24 batches of Kentucky whiskey finished in a secondary cask. The oldest component in the batches will be 18 year-old Kentucky whiskey. Each batch will yield 150-180 bottles in total and will be bottled at cask strength. Light spice and candied apricots in nose. Caribbean spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice) on the front of palette. Bit of bright spicy, molasses on the finish. Very different than any other Finished Bourbon I’ve ever tasted. Was expecting something like Angels Envy Rye finished in Rum Barrell, but remarkably bolder and more unusual flavor profile
