Cachaça Flor das Gerais is produced in the municipality of Felixlândia, in the Central region of Minas Gerais. The first still was founded at the beginning of the 20th century by the family patriarch, who led production until the 1940s, when the craft became the responsibility of one of his three sons. In 2025, Flor das Gerais launched Cachaça Porto D'Ouro 10 Years: a rare cachaça, with only 2,500 bottles, aged in oak, with 7 years in ex-tequila barrels and another 3 years in ex-Port wine barrels. An original project that will only return in 2035. Notes: Amber color, intense and complex aromas, spices, honey, dried fruits, pleasant sweetness, elegant, balanced. Source: Mapa da Cachaça website.
