The producer's website states that the brand is from Brasília, but the production is done in a still in Minas Gerais. Another problem is that the website states that there are two aged cachaças (one for 10 years and the Extra Premium for 8 years), but its Instagram states that there is a cachaça aged for 6 years. The SARACURA OURO or EXTRA PREMIUM cachaça is a blend aged in European oak barrels. It has a velvety and smooth flavor, with a soft and woody fragrance. The distillate has sensory analyses carried out by LABM (Amazile Biagioni Laboratory), from the natural product to the final result, in the Silver, Gold and Extra Premium categories, which ensures its quality standard. Saracura Ouro cachaça is made from a special blend resulting from aging in European oak barrels (old). It has an alcohol content of 40%. It has a soft oak fragrance and a velvety sensation on the palate. This bottle is from the 2014 harvest so there is no way of knowing how long it was aged in the oak barrel because the label did not say. Source: Cachaça Saracura website.
