The Meia Lua still is part of the history of Salinas/MG, the national capital of cachaça, and began in 1950, when it began to be produced by Deli Alves Rocha. In 1988 it was the year in which the heritage and passion for cachaça, passed for generations, it has become a reality. Ailton Fernandes, then founded Cachaça Meia Lua. With hard work and effort, always in search of the best quality, he took the brand to a prominent position in Brazil. At the end of 2019, Cachaça Meia Lua was acquired by new entrepreneurs and became be called Meia Lua Distillery. Today, it has several cachaças in its portfolio and maintains the constant search for excellence combined with modernity. Cachaça Unna Ouro 750ml is an elegant blend of American Oak, two toasts, the tradition of French Oak, the Brazilianness of Amburana and the surprise of Eucalyptus. Furthermore, the drink has a 40% alcohol content and is ideal for drinking pure, in fruit cocktails and elaborate drinks. Cachaça is a mixture of drinks from other producers that was standardized by the Meia Lua still generating Unha (this information is on the drink's label but there is no such information on the internet).
