Well not very surprising rum from Morgan's, it's like black and spiced mixed together and bit mellowed. Good for Rum & Coke or "black rum" recipes, but not really for neat drinking. Can recommend for mixers, can't recommend for sipping (nor binge drinking, I usually got heartburn from this kind of rums).
About this bottle
The Captain Morgan Black Spiced Rum is this massively popular brand's entry into the black rum arena. It spends some time in oak, sees some color additives, and is bottled at a higher proof than the standard Captain Morgan Spiced Rum.

Very, very sweet. There's not a huge depth of flavor here, only caramel, cherry cola, butterscotch and a touch of bubblegum and clove. There's almost none of the oak spice that was advertised. Stands out very sweet in a drink, so be careful when adding sugar or syrup. I'll definitely stick to the Kraken.
N: cola, koření, karamel T: ostřejší, ale hodně tmavý, což mě na něm baví, takový lowcost kraken, víc ostrý a kousavý alkoholově, ale chuťově fajn do koření, sudu, karamelu
Not bad spiced rom, much better and much tasty then Bacardi oakheart. A lot of vanilla in a test. Very sweet. Good as single and as a part of cocktails.
Probably My favorite Liquor behind Stolichnaya. Amazing any way you serve with an amazing taste and great as a flask liquor. 10/10 one of the bests.
Disappointing flavour for a black rum. Was hoping for something richer. Mixing with Cole makes it more tolerable but still not great.
