At $16/bottle, this may be destined to become my cocktail brandy of choice. Nose: Vanilla, wood, alcohol, some cooked fruit or baking spices are buried. Palate: Custard Finish: Heat, some spiced fruit, smoke Verdict: This is surprisingly sippable for such an inexpensive bottle. Nothing particularly interesting and low on the fruit, but I'd serve this to others. It will definitely shine in cocktails and the sweet aged wood noes and proof will serve it well. Really happy with this one.

Tex 3.8

For a cheap bottle of brandy, it’s not bad although on the sweet side like sugar sweet not particularly fruit forward. It definitely has an alcoholic burn in the back and throughout the chest. Probably a better mixer than neat. This brandy will definitely keep you warm on col nights drinking it neat. I actually like the taste of this BiB over a few whiskey BiB.

This reminds me quite a bit of Paul Masson, but with a more heavy alcohol component. Vanilla and spice flavors, with a slightly more muted sweetness than other brandies I've tried. This is really meant for mixing, and wouldn't be my go-to for sipping neat. I like it in a sidecar, though I think in an old fashioned it leaves something to be desired.

Broadarrow 3.3

Wonderful brandy. Notes of oak, pleasant mouth feel and smooth finish. The bourbon aging is in the forefront. It does taste like sugar may have been added. Is great in a Wisconsin Old Fashioned. Wish this was more readily available in the Midwest.

RunninTexas 3.5

Light flavor, apple taste for sure. Not bad

Nyoder88 3.3
