About this bottle

Tequila Corazón is distilled twice before being infused with oxygen and bottled. Corazón believes this process helps to lift the delicate aromas and flavors from the 6-8 year old agave plants that have been estate-grown and harvested in the Los Altos region of Mexico since 1886.

All I wanted was something that was made well at my liquor store down the street so I didn’t have to drive 20 minutes for decent tequila. This is the best blanco I’ve had. Sweet, fruity, good agave and pear notes on the nose, and really great neat or mixed. It is not sharp neat or hollow mixed; it is versatile and I am never going back to the normally available stuff if I can help it. Might have to look into their aged expressions too.

It's interesting. I tend to compare my incoming bottles to my outgoing bottles, and tonight I'm comparing this to Olmeca Altos Blanco. And they couldn't really be much more different. Whereas Olmeca is a linear, exuberant agave, this is a mellow, lightly spicy and herbaceous number. Both quite good in their own way, particularly considering the price.

I revised my original notes to give this tequila a 4.5 point score. this is hands down the best budget blanco I have tried that manages to make great cocktails and let's you enjoy it if you incline for a sipping tequila. on the palate it has typical tequila notes while keeping the burn to a very minimum (surprising at this price point)

Hello, Crazy but true. Never had it. However this Tequila has out sold any top name brand by over 200 bottles in 12 months in my (work) small but heavy hitting liquor store in Sarasota Fl. Repeats galore. Ps. I was turned on to this then in return I told him about Wheatley vodka. Check that one out. Thanks and enjoy. John

A delicate, Agave Spirit by Nom 1103 in Highlands - Los Altos, Mexico. It has an aromatic birth with notes of agave, fruits, herbs & flowers; while crisp life adds notes of citrus & green apple; that led to a fresh death of medium length with a hint of white pepper. December 2021

very interesting budget blanco, it's got initial smoothness not typical of a blanco at this price range. it ends with more agave notes but nothing too overwhelming, which makes this tequila a great one for light cocktails. hard to find a better blanco at this price point
