Desert Door Texas Sotol Rare Cask Series: Toasted Barrel

Nose of herbs, sotol, toasted oak, chile pepper, cardamom, grass, mint, smoke, pear, cinnamon, hay, vanilla and cedar. Sweet, spicy, oaky on the palate; grass, toasted oak, hay, cinnamon, vanilla, pear. Very smooth, very balanced, very complex.

Tried neat pool side with @Looneyhead Cardamom, lime, salt, cedar, pepper, strong red chili. On the palate it’s very herbal with notes of pepper, smoke, earth, and wood.
