About this bottle
Chip Tate's second offering since joining Foley Family Wine & Spirits in January 2024, Gambit No. 6 Bourbon, is based on a 6-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon. The mash bill consists of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley, initially matured in new, charred American oak. This bourbon then spends an additional 12 to 16 months finishing in a mix of six different cask types: Chardonnay French oak, Cabernet wine barrels from Ferrari-Carano vineyards in Napa Valley, Tokaji, Oloroso sherry, Muscatel wine barrels, and apple brandy casks. The barrels were aged at Minden Mill Distillery in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. It is presented at 92 proof and will be available in select U.S. markets from April 2026, with an SRP of $69.99.
