Decent first batch, has youthful notes to it but overall unique. Wouldn't buy the bottle again but not disappointed in buying it. Dominate palate note - Sounds odd but Hazelnut Corn Flakes? Not sugary frosted flakes but raw corn flakes with some hazelnut/chocolate taste at the end with a definite allspice finish.

Licorice and spearmint on the nose Sweet and nutty up front. More licorice, candied pecans, honey, fades to a slight pepper and herbal finish. Seems like a different type of oak used to age this one. Unique, good first run
It has a birch taste to it, which is a good thing. Not as strong as others I’ve had. I could drink it but not one I’d consider a “go to”.
Slants toward a single malt taste, maybe because of the pot still? Overall pretty good, just different…but different is ok!
Floral nose with honey, chalk, new oak, medium finish. Very unique
should be good for cooking and marinades
