Produced by Matsui Whisky in Japan’s Tottori Prefecture, The Hakuto Premium Gin is crafted with 13 locally sourced botanicals, including Nashi (Japanese pear), cherry blossom, yuzu, Gyokuro green tea, sansho peppercorn, coriander seed, orange peel, black pepper, juniper, and five undisclosed ingredients. It’s proofed with the soft groundwater of Mount Daisen and bottled at 47% ABV — a higher strength than the original Hakuto expression, which sits at 40%.
