Good. Nose of alcohol, light papaya? I drank it too fast to give a real tasting review; for that I apologize.
About this bottle
Mezan sources its rums from single distilleries in the Caribbean. This rum hails from Diamond Distillery in Guyana, who cultivate their own yeast strain and employ a range of stills. In this case, the molasses-based distillate from estate-grown cane passed through a double wooden pot-still. It was aged in ex-bourbon casks, however there is no evidence as to when it was bottled.

A little hot, but otherwise funky and banana. Oily finish. Good sipper. Curious to try it in a cocktail.
Potent somewhat smoky
