About this bottle

Craft Distillers, a California-based company focused on promoting hand crafted spirits, and Los Danzantes, a Oaxaca-based distillery, created the Mezcalero brand. Both work with small distilleries, often family run and owned, throughout Mexico to produce hand-crafted artisan mezcals made using traditional methods. This mezcal, released in 2011, is distilled from rare and wild-growing agave sierra negra and agave tepeztate and was produced by distiller Joel Antonio Cruz from San Juan del Rio, Querétaro. Only 852 bottles were ever produced.
