Ah I remember when the 2001 Edition was the pinnacle of rum in my mind....wind forward a few years and it's one year later brother came up review. Ah I've definitely moved on from Rum, or at least the sweeter types. Rich xmas fruit pudding, heavy on the raisan. It's quality drop but soooo, sooo sweet. It's way more than I can enjoy so sadly I won't be finishing this drop. 4 for quality, 2 for level of drinkability. Call it a 3.5

somehow better than their green bottle, this is very flavorful, very smooth, and readily enjoyable and drinking it straight. Would highly recommend no one ever mix in this with anything else, it would be detrimental to the overall flavor
Scotland casks + 1 year sherry = 13 y.o 100% alambic Worse than Diplomatico Reserva. Very light, less complicated, only hints of taste; dry wood, coffee
Was nearly a 5 for me. Not quite as good as the 97 but still fantastic. Definitely on the sweet side.
High ABV takes away flavour. Needs to be toned with water.
