A rich, aged rum by the Ron Millonario Distillery, owned by Fabio Rossi & his brother, in Peru made from a blend of 8–15-year-old Rums aged in barrels made from American & Slavonian oak blended through a 4-stage solera process. It has a rich & aromatic birth with notes of caramel, cinnamon, coffee & candied fruit; while a rich life adds notes of walnut, oak, vanilla & toffee; that leads to an elegant death of medium length. Nose: Caramel, chocolate, hint of charcoal and perhaps licorice Palate: Caramel, smoky Finish: Smooth with some smokiness This one is interesting, it kind of tastes like a mix between rum and an Islay whiskey
Very sweet with strong vanilla, honey, cinnamon, cloves and plums coming through. Silky taste that’s nice for sipping and feeling like a millionaire.
Second tasting and I’m smelling and tasting more molasses and burnt caramel than wood. Very enjoyable!
Suspect sharpie nose leads to pleasant fruity/cane sugar palate and wonderfully bright finish
Like slot is South American rum is it quite sweet. But for the value it is some of the best.
