About this bottle

This bottling was made in partnership with Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and Moët Hennessy which selected Dr. Bill Lumsden, Director of Distilling for both Glenmorangie and Ardbeg Scotch whiskies, to lead this whisky's creation. Distilled in Indiana using a mash bill of 51% rye and 49% malted barley, it was then sent to Texas where it finished its maturation in sherry casks. SirDavis is named in honor of Davis Hogue, Knowles-Carter’s paternal great-grandfather, who was a farmer and a moonshiner in the American South during Prohibition. Bottled at 44% ABV, it's available in September 2024 at US retailers as well as select airports (JFK, LAX, SFO) and stores in London, Paris, and Tokyo. (SRP $89)

AnttiRG 3.0

A complex, Rye Whiskey crafted by Beyoncé Knowles-Carter in collaboration with Moët Hennessy which selected Dr. Bill Lumsden, Director of Distilling for both Glenmorangie & Ardbeg Scotch whiskies, to lead this whisky's creation. Distilled in Indiana using a mash bill of 51% rye and 49% malted barley, then sent to Texas where it finished its maturation in sherry casks before being bottled at 44% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grains. wood, fruits, herbs & spices; while a rich & complex life adds notes of malt, biscuit, orange, cherries, raisins, honey, toffee & Demerara sugar; that led to a tangy & herbal death of medium length with notes of oak, rye, cinnamon, clove, ginger & dill.

Nose: great soft rye spice / peppermint, cherry, cola - well balanced Taste: sweet start, mild heat, rich cherry, followed by a bit of a tart apple finish that lingers nicely Tasty rye - flavors straightforward and a bit under proofed, but very enjoyable Flaviar advent 2025

Theres not much to say about this one. a bitter herbal rye with alot of fennel comes through, milder cereal notes from the malt and a dash of nutiness. finish is soft and short. Forgetable and definitely a flop for 89

Sitting herbal nose, cinnamon, sweet, red currant, extremely light, nose is stronger than the finish, get a little of the minty rye , definitely sweet for a rye

Wasn’t sure I’d like a celebrity whiskey, but this one surprised me. Much sweeter and fruitier than I expected for a rye.
