About this bottle

The Rum Society is a recent entrant into the rum space, with a most unusual background. Produced by Pernod Ricard’s Absolut division in Sweden, the three numerically dubbed expressions (#40, #62, and #65) are pot-stilled, mostly unaged, offered in limited release, and targeted at rum geeks. The #40 is unaged pot still rum from the Versailles single wooden pot-still in Guyana.
