Honestly I really had high hopes for this Tequila… Look not every anejo has the same taste but this is extra sweet! Like super sweet of course you are expecting this to have some sweetness on Añejos but this ones over the top! It is really smooth not going to lie, it has a great color and the aroma is very sweet like if you were in front of slightly burnt sugar cane(brown sugar) the vanilla is there maybe a hint of the cooked agave here and there. At the end of the day Is tequila but I haven’t done my extend research on it I don’t know if is traditionally made or if it has any additives which taste like it does but you could enjoy this after dinner and have it like a dessert!!

Way too sweet. Felt like I was drinking port wine and not a premium Anejo tequila. Positive: It was very smooth. Smelled very sweet. Great for folks getting into tequila. Not what I expected from a tequila sitting in French oak barrels for 20+ months. Tasted fake like they added 4 oz of maple syrup or Carmel to each 750mL bottle.
Can you say sweet? I was surprised. After spending a week in mexico drinking (relatively) good tequilas, this one was tough to take. I prefer a bit of a bite, but this has none. I may end up letting my girlfriend use this in margaritas, though without extra sweeteners. (sigh)
This one is super sweet dessert in a glass. Brown sugar caramel agave. Seeeter than most but priced much below other comparable s like dos artes, Cincoro, and others I’ve tried in this palate are easily $50 higher in price point
Ally of self proclaimed tequila experts would say this is full of additives but if I’m going to drink something, I’d rather go for something that’s taste great. Even if they did add extra flavor. Such an underrated tequila.
Sweet like the Plata and Repostado. I’m getting more oak from this one. Feels more mature, and it arguably is. Still wouldn’t buy a whole bottle - it’s just too sweet for me. And I enjoy sweet.
