Rich and elegant with wood, cocoa, tobacco, prune and baking spices on the nose. Palate is oily with all the same notes. Finish is long with a smoldering spice and a bit of licorice.

About this bottle
Established in 1819, the brand was founded by Alexandre Bisquit and his son-in-law Adrien Dubouché. Known as Bisquit for many years, the brand returned to its original moniker in March 2020. For this XO bottling, they use primarily eaux-de-vie from the Grande and Petite Champagne regions in Cognac. It's aged a minimum of 10 years in French oak and is bottled at 80 proof. This launched in the US in late 2021 in California, Texas, and Florida with further expansions set for 2022.
