Campeón is an American-owned brand that contracts their production of tequila at the Distillery Tequila el Viejito, S.A. de C.V. (NOM 1107) in Atotonilco, Jalisco. Campeón Añejo Tequila comes from blue weber agave grown in the Los Altos (Highland) region of Jalisco. The spirit is twice-distilled before it matures in ex-bourbon American oak barrels for at least a year.

First sipping tequila I have had the pleasure of trying - and it is fantastic! Complex and lightly herbal with no bite on the finish. Tequila haters might want to give this a shot.
