An elegant, Bas-Armagnac Hors d’âge by Domaine Tariquet in Tariquet, France distilled from 60% Ugni Blanc & 40% Baco grapes, aged for a minimum of 15 years in oak before bottling. It has an aromatic birth with notes of freshly baked bread, warm weather florals & dried fruits; while an elegant & velvety life adds notes of stewed fruits, fresh plum, currants, clove, dried ginger, hints of tangy oak, truffle, pecan & orange zest; that leads to a delicate death with hints of bitter dark chocolate, honey, dried cherry & apricot.
