Expresiones del Corazón is the collection of barrel-aged tequilas from Corazón Tequila, a tequila brand made at Casa San Matías Distillery in Jalisco. This tequila was aged at least 22 months in Buffalo Trace Distillery bourbon barrels which held whiskey for at least 22 years. This release in June 2018 marks the fourth release for the collection. I began my spirit adventure on tequila before discovering a love for bourbon. This is a great mashup from Sazerac. Sweet nose with caramel, almond, and oak notes.
