Expresiones del Corazón is the collection of barrel-aged tequilas from Corazón Tequila, a tequila brand made at Casa San Matías Distillery in Jalisco. This tequila was aged at least 22 months in Buffalo Trace Distillery bourbon barrels which held whiskey for at least 22 years. This release in June 2019 marks the fifth release for the collection. I much prefer Reposado to Anejo. This is ok, but not great. I was happy to be able to try it from a friend's bottle. IMO, not worth $80. I will just keep 1800 or Casamigos Reposado on hand.
Excellent. Quite possibly the best tequila this bourbon drinker has ever had. Easy drinker. Traditional tequila flavor but can definitely taste the bourbon barrel.
