Smells and tastes like a beautiful Speyside scotch, interestingly enough. Bright, fruity, medium rich. I'm not super into Speyside, but if I was this would be a textbook example of how to do it right, at least. Isnt giving me many bourbon vibes at all.
Fanged Pursuit 17 Year Bourbon
About this bottle
Fanged Pursuit is a release from Diageo's Orphan Barrel Whiskey Co. portfolio which features rare and nearly forgotten barrels of whiskey. Aged for 17 years, this Kentucky straight bourbon is made from a mash bill recipe of 68-74% corn, 18-22% rye, and 8-10% malted barley. The label depicts a Kentucky bobcat prowling its native Bluegrass State's forests. Bottled without chill-filtration at 46% ABV, this limited edition is available at select retailers nationwide beginning March 2025. (SRP $200)

Similar to a high year scotch being very smooth. Light fruit nose but not synthetic. Slight vanilla and oak but incredibly light and smooth. Great pour and incredibly easy to drink.
Nose: grainy and grassy nose. Sweet Palette: grassy and sweet upfronf, oaky finish but medium length
Interesting. Not quite Scotch not quite bourbon. Smooth and drinkable.
